Dear Friends,
We had such a great time with our parenting workshops last fall that we decided to come back with another season! We are so thrilled that Angie Baker will be joining us for these. All three of us have put a lot of thought into the content that would be most useful and inspiring. We have received some very supportive and helpful feedback from you, our class members, as well. We have loved what we have learned from each other and hope that these workshops will continue to be a positive, loving, and supportive place to learn how to improve in our most important job--parenting!
Workshops will take place on Mondays from 12:00 noon until 1:15 pm in an online classroom.
Cost is $35 for the entire season. Register by clicking the "buy now" button on the right.

Achieving Quality through Simplicity Last fall's class on simplicity was a great introduction to this idea, but many class members have asked to go deeper. Learn what happens when you truly simplify (not just with the schedule). The positive changes our families need happen after we create the space for it. (Based on the books Simplicity Parenting by Kim John Payne and The Power of Less by Leo Babauta.)

How to Be a Great Parent Mentor How are your mentor meetings going with your youth? Angie has been teaching workshops like this one as the parent coach at Williamsburg Academy, plus she is the parent mentor to a houseful of scholars, from the age of 12 to 22. She is full of insight and counsel about helping the time we connect with our youth happier and more productive.

Christ-like Parenting Struggling with knowing how to best teach and discipline your children? What happens when they don't want to follow your plan? Learn how to follow the pattern set by the Savior himself. (Based on the book Christlike Parenting.)

The Importance of Play It's not just for kids! Why everyone needs time to unwind, laugh, change gears, and enjoy life. Doing so will actually help us bring out our best selves, forge stronger relationships, improve our health, tap into greater creativity, and lead more productive and meaningful lives. (Based on the book A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink.)
Of course, it would be ideal if everyone in the class could come having read the books from which we are basing the classes, however we understand that is not always possible. We will be structuring the class as part lecture/presentation and part discussion and question/answer. Come ready to jump in and ask questions or make comments. We love learning from each other.
We are looking forward to being with you again, or for the first time!
With love,
Angie, Sarah, and Cathy
